Civic education on a global scale
We are very happy to announce that Datastory received 2 million SEK in funding from Vinnova, the Swedish government agency that administers funding for research and development.
Together with our own R&D investments, this makes it possible to purse the vision we have for civic education on a global scale. We are humbled by the trust placed in us and committed to serve global and local communities with open data and knowledge in new pedagogical formats.
A journey begins
Datastory has established a team with expertise in statistics, data visualization, databases, programming, journalism and design. Together, the team is building Datastory Cloud, a platform to help organizations unleash their data's potential through rich data visualization applications.
Datastory will soon begin developing methodologies and tools for universities and research groups to work efficiently with statistics and visualizations, partnering with organizations from different regions throughout Sweden.
